Delta x VICE
In 2017 Delta Airlines came to VICE with the goal of reaching its millennial consumers in more meaningful ways than “just another ad campaign”. My team came back with the idea of bringing tangible, real-life experiences to this demographic that we knew they would love: we curated, programmed and executed a multi-city series of events that engaged consumers around a central theme in three of the airline’s top markets: Los Angeles, New York and Seattle.
The film festival featured daily workshops, panel discussions and screenings with industry talent and professionals. It also offered a networking space and a VR installation to showcase today’s most progressive forms of filmmaking. Participating filmmakers and industry talent Janicza Bravo (Zola), Lily Ana Amirpour (Girl Walks Home Alone At Night) included Sam De Jong (Prince), Ethan Tobman (Room), The Wolfpack Brothers (The Wolfpack) and more.
We also created a festival website where guests could see schedules, book tickets and watch original content from the event.
